Our Heritage

IMA was launched 20 years ago by Stanley Hutton and Derek Groves, both highly accomplished marketing professionals. The model of the business was focused on a service that Stanley and Derek would have bought when they were client-side. They wanted to offer a truly independent service to help clients better manage their marketing agencies and the associated costs.

The company initially focused on Production Cost Control and then expanded to include other aspects of the marketing agency relationship including Agency Compensation, Contract Review and Agency Audits.

Our approach is always collaborative. Our objective is to arrive at fair and transparent commercial terms without compromising creativity or quality.

We have a global footprint through our alliances in EMEA, North America and APAC and we provide services for many clients at a pan-regional and global level.

We charge on a fee basis which ensures we remain impartial and independent advisors.
